Assistant Manager - Finance, Goa
This is a full-time on-site role located in GOA area. We are looking for Asst. Finance Manager who will be responsible to support the finance functions of this Luxury hotel. Oversees the day-to-day execution of general ledger impacted processes, including support to clients/departments as they work with and understand these processes. Supervises other Finance and Accounting employees in areas relating to general ledgers, subsidiary ledgers and related reporting.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include which includes but not limited to cash flow, budgeting and financial controlling, accounts receivable and payable, finance auditing.
- Keep the daily book of accounts updated
- Ensure that all departments adhere to budgetary guidelines relating to revenue and expenses
- Submits reports in a timely manner, ensuring delivery deadlines.
- Ensures profits and losses are documented accurately.
- Routine audit of financial activities of the hotel and make MIS and submit to the General Manager
- Monitors all taxes that apply, ensuring that taxes are current, collected and/or accrued.
- Maintains a strong accounting and operational control environment to safeguard assets.
- Act as a whistle blower and a gate keeper relating to all financial matters
Qualification
- Degree from a reputed university in Finance/Accounting; 5 - 7 years experience in the hotel finance & accounting
- 5 years experience in Hospitality accounting
- Excellent follow ups and guidance to unit managers
- Experience with budgeting and financial analysis
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing situations
